Fall 2021 Newsletter
In this issue we hear from Doug Rich, the Director of Catholic Schools and Parish Facilities, as our schools start up for the new year. Also, we explore the new Digital Learning Fund and who has been awarded those grants, thus far.
It has also been announced that the in-person, Celebration of Faith 2021, events have been canceled due to the ongoing Covid crisis. Donations are still accepted via mail and through the website.
We also want to thank all our donors for their on-going support.
Celebration of Faith 2021 Update
In response to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis, the Central Washington Catholic Foundation has once again reimagined the annual Celebration of Faith fundraising event. Due to the increase in Covid cases across the state, ever changing mandates, and the uncertainty of what the next couple of weeks will reveal, the Celebration of Faith Committee has decided to cancel our in-person events.
As much as we were looking forward to celebrating with you in person, your safety is our priority. We hope that you will still consider making a gift to support the Foundation. The needs of our school and parish communities are increasing and becoming more complex. Many are in desperate need of additional support to combat the strain of Covid-19 on their communities. This year our goal is to again raise at least $325,000 to support our Tuition Assistance Program, college scholarships, FORMED, Parish Religious Education and our new Digital Learning Fund. With support from donors like you, we can achieve this goal!
More than ever, Catholic education in our Diocese is in dire need of supporters like you. Every gift matters. During this unprecedented time, we are inviting you to join us in supporting Catholic education with a generous heart to support those students, families, parishes, and schools that need us the most. Included with this newsletter is a giving envelope for your convenience. Or, you can always make a gift online here!
