The Central Washington Catholic Foundation serves to facilitate Catholic philanthropy and to pass our faith heritage to future generations. Rooted in Christian stewardship, we encourage a faith-filled response to God’s generosity. In gratitude, individuals and families give back to formative institutions and ministries that guided their own faith development.

Independent Foundation
The Catholic Foundation is an association of the Christian faithful in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Yakima. It is a separate legal entity with its own board of trustees who are visionary Catholic community leaders providing morally responsible, professional financial management.
Our History
Since 2002, the Central Washington Catholic Foundation has worked to support and enhance philanthropy and charitable activities for the needy and disadvantaged and for faith-oriented worthy causes in Central Washington. CWCF has given away $1 million to support Catholic schools and parishes, seminarian education, college scholarships and various ministries. Our 30+ endowment funds will continue to support these worthy causes.
To celebrate our 10th Anniversary in 2012 we announced our new vision and mission statements and the establishment of the Celebration of Faith Fund. The vision of the Central Washington Catholic Foundation is to provide enduring support for Catholic education and ministries of Central Washington. The mission of the Central Washington Catholic Foundation is to support Catholic education.
The Celebration of Faith Fund is dedicated to providing support for Catholic education in parishes and schools in Central Washington. We provide tuition assistance for low-income families and financial assistance to parishes for their RCIA and religious education programs.
