Endowment Funds are permanently restricted funds managed by the Foundation to ensure growth, protection into perpetuity, and annual distributions. Earnings are distributed in preservation of the donor’s designated purpose.
The Foundation encourages meaningful support of charitable organizations significant to each donor in proclaiming their Catholic identity and leaving a personal legacy. The principal for each endowment fund is protected forever, so each fund perpetually supports its intended purpose.

The Celebration of Faith Education Endowment Fund provides ongoing support for parish and school education initiatives including grants, professional development, and tuition assistance for K-12 and college scholarships.

EDUCATION FUNDS

The St. Joseph-Kennewick School Endowment Fund is for the benefit of St. Joseph School-Kennewick.

The Amos & Elsie Gamache Education Fund equally supports St. Joseph/Marquette School-Yakima, Christ the Teacher School (formerly known as St. Paul Cathedral School), and Catholic Family and Child Service-Yakima.

The Angela Heine Memorial Fund is for scholarships for students at La Salle High School.

The Christ the Teacher School Endowment Fund is for the benefit of Christ the Teacher School, formerly known as St. Paul Cathedral School-Yakima.

The Ernest and Hai Madarang Seminarian Education Fund is to educate seminarians for the Diocese of Yakima and to provide tuition assistance for St. Joseph School Kennewick.

The James and Jean McConnell Educational Fund mission is to recognize, both remuneratively and publicly, selected teachers of St. Joseph School-Kennewick who embody excellence in all facets of academia.

The Jean Meyer Scholarship Fund is for the benefit of the Christ the King School-Richland tuition assistance fund.

The Katie and Bob Ferguson Education Endowment Fund is to provide tuition assistance for students at Christ the King Catholic School.

The Lawrence C. and Lillian L. Jacobs Fund mission is to recognize, both remuneratively and publicly, selected teachers of Christ the King School-Richland who embody excellence in all facets of academia.

The Mark Kranz Educational Fund supports the tuition needs of students at Christ the Teacher School, formerly known as St. Paul Cathedral School-Yakima.

The Melinda Mills Memorial Fund supports St. Joseph Catholic School in Wenatchee, WA.

The Msgr. William J. Sweeney Endowment Fund is for the benefit of Christ the King School-Richland.

The Our Lady of Fatima Education Fund is for scholarships for Moses Lake students enrolled in Primary or Secondary Parochial schools in Grant County.

The Sister Rebecca Berghoff Foundation Fund is to provide scholarships to St. Joseph/ Marquette School-Yakima.

The St. Joseph-Wenatchee School Fund is for the benefit of St. Joseph School-Wenatchee.

The St. Rose of Lima Catholic School Endowment Fund is for the operations of St. Rose of Lima School-Ephrata.

The William L. and Mary A. Tyrrell Education Fund is for the benefit of St. Joseph School-Wenatchee.

The Celebration of Faith Endowment Fund provides annual scholarships to multiple students attending a Catholic college.

The John Rodriguez-Kranz Scholarship Fund provides an annual scholarship for a graduating senior of Davis High School, Yakima, to attend an institution of higher learning.

The Mary Ellen Chott-Mahre Scholarship Fund provides an annual scholarship to a Catholic student attending a Catholic college.

SEMINARIAN EDUCATION FUNDS

The Anna B. Shuck Education Fund is for the purpose of educating seminarians for the Diocese of Yakima.

The Bittner Burse Seminarian Education Fund is for the purpose of educating seminarians for the Diocese of Yakima and was established by Bernadine Bittner.

The Edmond and Blanche Poulin Seminarian Fund is for the purpose of educating seminarians for the Diocese of Yakima.

The Juana Cobain Sevilla Fund is for the purpose of educating seminarians for the Diocese of Yakima.

The Haven Newman Center Fund was established by William A. and Mary M. Hambelton and supports a meeting place for college students at Yakima Valley Community College to gather and grow in their faith.

The Holy Rosary Cemetery Endowment Fund provides for the long-term care and needs of Holy Rosary Cemetery.

The Jane Frances Godfrey Scholarship Fund is for the benefit of St. Joseph/Marquette School-Yakima and The Missionary Daughters of the Most Virgin Mary.

The St. Vincent Society Endowment Fund provides perpetual support for the St. Vincent Society of St. Joseph Parish in Yakima.
