Easter Appeal 2025

As we enter the season of Lent, the Central Washington Catholic Foundation is launching our Easter Appeal, raising funds to support the operations and programs of the Foundation. In this Jubilee Year of Hope, as we work towards reconciliation and coming home, there is an opportunity for you, as a supporter of Catholic education, to help others grow in their Faith through a gift to the Foundation this Lenten season.

Every gift makes an impact. Many of you are familiar with the Foundations Tuition Assistance Program which supports the financial need of families at Catholic schools. But did you know that the Foundation also has programs that support religious education programs at parishes, provide college scholarships to students attending Catholic universities, support the digital needs of classroom teachers, and engage in collaborative efforts for marketing Catholic schools? Because of supporters like you, the Foundation distributed more than $315,000 to Catholic beneficiaries in our community in the past year (or in 2024?). That, my friends, is incredible!

Here in the Foundation office, we love hearing from those who have benefitted from our programs. When asked about the impact of the assistance on one student, we heard “Knowing that someone believes in my abilities empowers me to do my best. This scholarship will enable me to realize my career dream, give back to my family and community, and pay it forward in the future.” We were also told, “Receiving a scholarship is more than just receiving money, it means there are people who believe in me. That is enough to further my persistence, which, I believe, is the key to my future success.” Our donors are part of these students’ stories and supporters of helping them reach their educational goals.
