Day 2: Board Member Feature – Gordon Beecher, President

Gordon Beecher is the current Board President of the CWCF. He is also an active member of Christ the King parish (Richland). In addition to his work with the Foundation, he serves as a Board Member for Tri-Cities Prep. Although retired from his work as the HR Director for the City of Richland & Fluor Hanford, Gordon stays busy with wife Kathy Beecher. Kathy is a retired HR Manager at Hanford, a Board Member at St Martin’s University and volunteered as a College Counselor for 20+years at TC Prep High School. Their son Jon, is a Senior Solutions Consultant for the SAS Institute in Raleigh, NC who credits his success to his education at TC Prep and St. Martin’s University.

Gordon commented, “I support the Foundation since it’s mission is to further Catholic Education in the Diocese of Yakima (K through the University), a critical piece of our Catholic identity and the development of our future leaders & citizens.
