For assistance in the 2017-18 academic year
The Catholic Foundation has very specific guidelines for eligibility. If you believe that you may qualify for assistance, contact the TAP Coordinator at the school that your child will attend.
No. The FACTS process allows you to register as a family and will allow you to request assistance for each child individually.
Yes. We award grants to new students whether or not the family is new to the school.
Yes. Our grants are for any child who wishes to attend a Catholic school in Central Washington.
Yes. Our grants are for any child who wishes to attend a Catholic school in Central Washington.
No. Tuition assistance is always awarded for the coming academic year. All application deadlines are strictly enforced.
There are many factors beyond earnings that are considered by the award formula. These include family size, number of children in Catholic schools, age of parent, assets available to the family, etc.
If the application was for a TAP renewal and it is past May 15, check with the school. If the application is for a new student and it is past June 30, check with the school.
The money is sent directly to the school your child attends in September.
Yes. The assistance can be transferred to any Catholic school in Central Washington that your child attends. If the transfer occurs during the school year, the grant will be pro-rated at the new school. Please alert the school and CWCF of any such change.
The grant amount for 2017-18 academic year is $500 to $1500 per child, depending on adjusted available income and available funding.
Each school has its own financial aid system. Inquire at the school whether your grant amount includes or does not include a CWCF grant.
